Tintin Car N°32-Castafiore's car

In Syldavia, a plot is being hatched against the king. Activists in the pay of the neighbouring country, Borduria, want to steal his sceptre, the symbol of the power he holds. Tintin wants to save this small monarchy, lost in the middle of the Balkans, and its illustrious representative, Muskar XII. Hunted by the henchmen of the Z.Z.R.K. (Zyldav Zentral Revolutzionär Komitzät), Tintin flees through the dark Syldavian forests. His legendary intuition allows him to escape the ambush of Sirov and Zlop. After a brief stop at the Crown Inn, he climbs into the Cadillac of a diva from the Scala in Milan. He gets out quite quickly, on the first pretext that comes up: the song of the Milanese Nightingale has literally traumatised him!

The Castafiore Emerald (Le Journal Tintin)

Rediscover the comedy as published in Tintin magazine!

In the early 1960s, Hergé was a man who was both fulfilled (in his private life) and accomplished (in his art). With "The Castafiore Emerald", for example, he challenges the codes of classic adventure in the form of a scathing comedy. The originals of the original version, originally published in "Tintin" magazine, had lain dormant in his archives for 60 years. Meticulously restored, these documents now allow us to give new life to the story of "The Castafiore Emerald". (French version, Le Journal Tintin edition).

Box set 3 Albums Tintin colorized version

Brought together for the first time in a box set, the original versions of the first three adventures of Tintin are adorned with new colors to bring an unprecedented freshness to the drawings of young Hergé...

This work is co-published by Tintinimaginatio SA and Casterman SA.

Totally different from the current edition, the Tintin plates published in Le Petit Vingtième between January 1929 and October 1932 reveal a more rounded, spontaneous and flexible graphics, but also an art of composition influenced by Art Deco. In this first manner of Hergé, the elegant stylization is already affirmed which will blossom even more visibly from the Blue Lotus.
