Shipping
How can I follow my order as it is processed?
You can follow the status of your order as it is processed and dispatched for delivery by accessing your account and/or via the website/services of the delivery company.
As soon as your order has been dispatched for delivery, you will receive an e-mail notification with the tracking number and a link to the website of the delivery company.
How long does delivery take?
As well as the delivery times quoted by our delivery partners, you should count between 1 and 2 working days for the preparation and packing of your order, from the moment you receive order confirmation from us.
Delivery times depend on the destination country.
- Home: 1 to 3 working days
- Pick-up point: 2 to 5 working days
Please note:
- During holidays and sales periods, delivery may take longer.
- Orders are not prepared and shipped during weekends and bank holidays.
What are the available delivery methods and how much do they cost?
Depending on the destination, we offer home delivery (standard and express) and delivery to pick-up points.
Delivery costs vary according to weight, volume and geographical destination.
The precise cost is displayed at the moment when an order is made.
Please note:

For international deliveries taxes and customs fees are added to delivery costs and are payable by you at the moment when delivery/pick-up of the package is made.

If the order is not claimed after presentation by the carrier and/or at the relay point, your order will be automatically returned to us. Only the amount of your order will be refunded. Delivery costs remain your responsibility.
How long do I have to pick up my order from a pick-up point?
You have 7 days to pick up your order from a pick-up point.
As soon as your package has arrived at a pick-up point, you will be informed by e-mail. How long you have to pick up your package will be indicated in this e-mail.
After the deadline, (non-claim of your package) your order will be automatically returned to us. Only the amount of your order will be refunded. The delivery costs remain your responsibility.
There is a problem with my package. What should I do?
You must verify the condition of your package and of its contents at the moment when delivery is made. All refund requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery, otherwise the request may be refused.
All refund requests must be made by e-mail to customerservice@tintin.be and must include the order number, reference to the product, a clear explanation of the problem and a photograph of the product to illustrate the problem.
I have not received my order. What should I do?
It is rare for an order not to be fulfilled and delivered within the delivery times specified, but if you have not received your order within a month following order confirmation, please inform us by e-mail: customerservice@tintin.be.
I entered the wrong delivery address. How can I change this?
Please inform us by e-mail at customerservice@tintin.be.
Although our customer service will do everything possible to help, it is not always possible to change the delivery address. This depends on the delivery company that is handling the delivery.
Payment
How can I make payment?
All orders made on the Boutique website may be paid for online using bank/credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express).
Is it safe to make a payment?
We work closely with Ingenico, a leader in the payments industry. All your information is treated in the strictest confidence and all data is encrypted.
Why has my payment been refused?
As well as the security systems put in place by Ingenico, the Boutique team reserves the right to refuse any transaction that may be linked directly or indirectly with a suspicion of fraud. The Boutique is not required to justify any such decision.
When is payment taken from my account?
Your account is debited after 24 hours following the confirmation of your order that you will receive from us by e-mail, and the confirmation of payment that you will receive from Ingenico.
During the 24 hour period following order and payment confirmation it is possible to cancel your order and payment by contacting our customer service from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm.
Order/payment cancellation is not possible on weekends and bank holidays.
Why is there a problem with my co-branded credit card?
All co-branded cards work on our webshop except for the following co-branded card: "VISA/BANCONTACT".
If you have this type of card, you can use it, but you have to choose the VISA payment method and not BANCONTACT when paying for your order.
Why is my credit card not accepted?
If you want to pay with a foreign credit card or from abroad, you may have an error message and your transaction may be refused. We invite you to use another payment method and to contact your bank or credit card company if the problem persists. Depending on the problem, they will be able to
find a solution (authorisation of the card for the geographical area, activation of the card, etc.).
Other possible problems with your credit card:
Your credit card is not accepted in our webshop. We only accept: Visa, American Express and
MasterCard.
The credit card has expired. Please check the expiry date on your card.
There is not enough money on your credit card.
Returns and exchanges
Is there a cooling-off period?
In accordance with Article 47(1) of the Act on Market Practices and Consumer Protection, you have the right to notify the boutique.tintin.com that you wish a refund for your order without penalties and without giving any reason within 14 (fourteen) calendar days starting from the day after the item was delivered.
Goods must be returned at your expense within that period in their original packaging, undamaged, accompanied by all their accessories, the user manual as well as a (copy) of the invoice/packing note to:

A refund will be made within 14 (fourteen) days following receipt of the returned product at boutique.tintin.com.
In accordance with Article 47 (4) of the Law (of 6 April 2010) on market practices and consumer protection, there is no exception applicable in this case.
What is the procedure for and what are the costs of returns/exchanges?
Any return request must be notified to us and provided with the reasons for the return by email ( = customerservice@tintin.be ), stating the order number and the references of the items concerned.

Upon receipt of your package, we will refund the returned goods. The return costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case where the return is due to a proven defect in the product. If the defect is confirmed to be our responsibility, we will cover the return costs as well as the reshipping costs.

Is there a regular restocking of products on the site?
We work closely with the production and object department of Tintinimaginatio SA.
We present new products on a regular basis.
The best way to be notified of these new arrivals is to create your account and/or subscribe to the newsletter.
You will find the links on the home page.
I am looking for an item that no longer appears on the site, is this definitive?
If the product is no longer visible, it means that it is out of stock.
However, it may happen that certain items (Non-limited Edition) are restocked.
Are the same items available as those at retailers?
Yes, within the limit of available stocks.
Some products that we consider to be too fragile could be sent by carrier are not sold online.
We would take too many risks by shipping them.
For these parts, we advise you to consult the list of our resellers and to inquire with them about their availability.
What about quality control?
All our products are subject to quality control.
Apart from the legal guarantees, the Boutique does not provide any additional contractual guarantee for items purchased online.
However, if you encounter a problem with one of our items, you can contact our after-sales service at any time.

How can I make an order?
When you have made your purchases all you need to do is click the "My cart" link in the blue header at the top of the page, and follow the cues.
How can I be sure that my order has been received by you?
After you have made payment for your order, you will receive an e-mail from us, confirming your order.
Please keep this confirmation e-mail, which contains information such as your order number. This information is useful if you ever need to contact us about your order.
How can I modify or cancel my order?
Confirmed and paid orders may only be modified or cancelled through contacting our customer service.

Please note that cancelling your order is only possible if you contact us within 24 hours of the order confirmation. Order cancellation is not possible on weekends and bank holidays.

The Buyer's order confirmation therefore constitutes acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be modified at any time. It is the responsibility of each customer to stay informed of any changes.
Any modification to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is binding on the Buyer.
BEFORE SUBMITTING AN ORDER FOR PRODUCT(S), YOU MUST READ AND ACCEPT OUR T&Cs. FOR EACH PURCHASE FROM THE TINTIN SHOP, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO CONFIRM YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE APPLICABLE ON THE DAY OF YOUR ORDER. If you create an account (personal username and password) on La Boutique Tintin, (i) you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and for restricting access to them, and (ii) you accept responsibility for all activities and purchases related to it, unless they were carried out by an unauthorized third party who gained access to your account other than through your negligence.
You must notify us as soon as you have reason to believe that your password has been disclosed, or if your password is or is likely to be used by an unauthorized person. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide us are correct and complete and for notifying us of any changes to the information provided. You can access and update the information provided, including your account settings, in the "My Account" section of the website.
Once your account is created, you can:

• View your order history;
• Add or edit shipping and billing addresses for future orders.
LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE reserves the right to refuse service, close an account, remove or edit content/information/data in the event of non-compliance with applicable law(s), these Terms of Sale, or any other applicable terms and conditions or policies.
Article 4. Order Processing and Contract Formation
4.1 To purchase Products from La Boutique Tintin, you must:
• Complete the order form, including having read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions, the Cookie Policy, and the Privacy Policy;
• Provide your title, first name, last name, address, telephone number, email address, payment details, and other necessary information or login details through your customer account;
• Provide a valid delivery address (Please note that LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE is unable to deliver to certain countries and/or addresses, such as, but not limited to: P.O. Box/CEDEX, foreign military addresses, certain hotels, hostels, or prisons, and British Army PO Boxes);
• Be over eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract;
• Be the owner or authorized holder of a valid credit/debit card to purchase the Products if paying by this method.
4.2 Items
The essential characteristics of each item are described on the appropriate pages of La Boutique Tintin. Offers are valid from the moment they are presented on the website https://boutique.tintin.com and until stocks run out, unless otherwise stated. These offers are non-binding and subject to purchase.
Despite every effort made to ensure that the color and design displayed in the photos available on La Boutique Tintin correspond in every way to the original products, variations may appear, particularly depending on the screen resolution of your computer hardware. Consequently, LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE cannot be held responsible for any non-substantial errors or inaccuracies in the photos or graphic representations of the Products presented on La Boutique Tintin.
4.3 Order
The Buyer places their order on the website https://boutique.tintin.com by following the procedure indicated. La Boutique Tintin's automatic registration systems are considered proof of the nature, content, and date of the order.
We encourage you to carefully review your order(s) by clicking on "My Cart" in the top right-hand menu, where photos of the Product(s), color(s), and size(s), the selected quantity, currency, and subtotal will be displayed. Please read and accept the Terms and Conditions, the information you have provided, and correct any input errors before confirming your order(s). When you have submitted and confirmed the information contained in your order(s) on La Boutique Tintin, LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE will send you an acknowledgment email to the address provided (“Order Confirmation”) when placing your order(s) detailing the Product(s) ordered, the total amount and details of the shipping costs. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order(s), but only confirmation that LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE has received it (Confirmation Email and Tracking number).
You agree that your order constitutes an offer to purchase the Product(s) included in your order in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. The confirmation email will also contain a link to the Terms and Conditions, which we encourage you to retain and/or print with your Order Confirmation email for your records.
All orders are subject to acceptance by LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE, which reserves the right to refuse an order for any legitimate reason (including, but not limited to, fraudulent or suspicious orders). LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE may decide, at its sole discretion, not to accept an order, including in the case of abnormal orders, any order from a customer with whom a dispute is still ongoing, as well as orders suspected of being placed in bad faith. Any order, accepted and confirmed by the Buyer is irrevocable without prejudice to (i) his right of withdrawal stipulated in Article 8 and (ii) the right of La Boutique Tintin to offer a similar item that the Buyer has the right to refuse without being liable for any costs in the event of stock shortage. In these last two cases, the Buyer will be informed by email.
4.4 Conclusion of the Contract
A contract for the sale of Products between LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE and you is concluded when LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE sends you an email announcing the shipment of your order ("Shipping Confirmation").
The contract for the sale of Products only applies to Products for which LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE has confirmed shipment in the Shipping Confirmation email.
If you wish to return your order after receiving it, please refer to the "Help - Product Returns" section.
You agree that the data recorded on La Boutique Tintin constitutes proof of all transactions between LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE and its customers. In the event of a dispute between LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE and one of its customers regarding a transaction carried out on boutique.tintin.com, the data recorded by LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE is considered irrefutable proof of the content of the transaction.
4.5 Availability of Items
La Boutique Tintin's sales offer is only valid while stocks last. However, the Buyer will be informed by email within 24 hours of placing the order if an item is unavailable. From the date the email is sent, the Buyer will have 7 days to respond to the email and will have the option to cancel their order and (i) obtain a refund of the amounts paid within 14 days of payment at the latest, or (ii) exchange the item.
If our after-sales service does not receive a response to the email within the aforementioned 7-day period, the missing item will be automatically refunded without a reminder email.
4.6 Compatibility, Product Information
When placing your order, please ensure that the Products you purchase are compatible with your intended use. Please use La Boutique Tintin as the final reference point for checking compatibility. In the event of a discrepancy between the content of La Boutique Tintin and another website (or other source of information), the description of the Products as provided on La Boutique Tintin at the time of your purchase will prevail.
If the Products you receive do not correspond to those ordered, or if the order is incomplete or damaged in transit, you can contact LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE Customer Service immediately via the online contact form to request assistance.
Article 5. Price
The price of a Product will be the price (VAT and other taxes included, in the selected currency) in effect at the time of your order and will be specified on the Order Confirmation. All orders must be paid for at the time of your order confirmation and in one of the currencies offered (Euro, Pound, and Dollar).

Prices indicated in currencies other than the Euro are for informational purposes only and may vary significantly depending on the exchange rate.

LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE will contact you to notify you of the correct price before processing your new order. Product prices do not include shipping and handling charges, but these are visible on the Order Confirmation page before the order is placed. Shipping charges are calculated based on the delivery location specified during checkout and the weight or volume of your package.
Product prices and shipping charges are subject to change at any time, but these changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent you a Shipping Confirmation.
Orders delivered to countries outside the European Union may be subject to additional taxes or customs fees. These charges are the sole responsibility of the person authorized to receive the order.
Article 6. Payment Methods
To pay for their order, the Buyer may use the payment methods indicated when placing the order.
Payment must be made using the payment method you selected when placing your order.
Online payment allows the Buyer to pay for their order via the payment gateway, in a secure environment (HTTPS protocol and encryption key - INGENICO). The order validated by the Buyer will only be considered final once the bank payment gateway has validated the transaction.
Payments and refunds are made in Euros (€).
Boutique Tintin cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any use (fraudulent or otherwise) of the payment card by a third party, particularly in the event of interception of messages.
Article 7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery Time
The delivery times indicated on the website https://boutique.tintin.com/#help-shipping are provided for informational purposes only. Any delays do not give rise to compensation.
7.2 Delivery Method
Delivery can only be made to available and valid addresses as specified in Article 4 of the General Terms and Conditions.
Items are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the Buyer when placing the order.
The Buyer must check the condition of the merchandise packaging upon delivery and report any damage to the carrier and La Boutique Tintin within 48 hours of receiving the package.
Any non-conformity must be checked upon delivery, and if any anomalies are detected (e.g., an open package, a damaged product, etc.), you must describe them, if possible on the delivery slip to be signed, and immediately report them to Customer Service by email for follow-up. This also applies to any Product received that does not correspond to your order, or if your delivery is incomplete. If the Buyer does not receive their delivery within 15 days from the date of shipment confirmation, they must inform La Boutique Tintin by email at customerservice@tintin.be .
If the package is not claimed after presentation to the carrier or at the collection point chosen by the buyer, the return and reshipping costs will be borne by the customer.
If a package is redirected to another collection point or address by the carrier, for reasons beyond the control of Tintinimaginatio (saturation, closure or unavailability of the collection point, delivery constraints, etc.), delivery is deemed to have been made.
If the customer refuses to collect the package due to this redirection, it will be returned to the sender. In this case, only the price of the items ordered will be refunded, excluding shipping costs.
If the delivery failure results from the Buyer providing an incorrect address, the package will be returned to the Tintin Boutique at the Buyer's expense.
In the event of a return, only the amount of the order will be refunded to the customer. Shipping and return costs are borne by the customer. No complaints reported more than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the Order Confirmation will be considered.
LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE reserves the right to substitute another carrier at the same or lower price for your delivery.
Orders will be processed within 48 hours of receipt of payment.
All deliveries are accompanied by the corresponding invoice.
If La Boutique Tintin cannot deliver within the time period specified in the Order Confirmation, La Boutique Tintin will contact you, and you may decide to cancel your order. In this case, La Boutique Tintin will refund the order amount.
You assume all risks (particularly loss, theft, or damage) relating to the delivered product(s) upon their arrival at the address specified when you placed your order.
7.3 Delivery Costs
Delivery costs (excluding customs duties and other country-specific fees) are indicated when the Buyer finalizes the order. These costs may vary depending on the order (weight/volume), the delivery method chosen by the customer, and the geographic area of ??delivery of the items. These costs cannot be disputed by the Buyer, provided that they are aware of them when paying for their order.
For any order to a country outside the European Union, customs duties, import duties, or state taxes may be payable. Payment of these duties or taxes will be at your expense. We advise you to inquire about these matters with your local authorities.
Article 8. Returns
8.1 Defective Product
1. Contact customer service via the contact form, specifying your problem.
2. Following analysis of the situation, La Boutique Tintin will send you a return label allowing you to return the product.
3. La Boutique Tintin will notify you of the processing of your return and provide you with a new tracking number. In the case of an out-of-stock product, La Boutique Tintin will issue a full refund.
8.2 Lost Package
1. If you have not received your package or have not been informed by the carrier, contact us via the contact form.
2. La Boutique Tintin will analyze the situation and contact the carrier to resolve the problem.
3. To guarantee delivery of your order, La Boutique Tintin will send a second shipment and send you a new tracking number.
8.3 Other
To return or cancel your order, you must notify LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE Customer Service via the contact form. This form is also accessible using the link provided in the shipping confirmation email.
LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE will cover the standard return costs provided that:
• You opt for a standard return (dropped off at a Collection Point)
• You follow the return procedure
• The items are returned within 14 days of delivery
If these conditions are not met, you will be responsible for the direct costs associated with returning the Product(s). You may also be liable if the value of the returned Product(s) decreases as a result of their return.
If you do not return the Products with their invoice, LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE reserves the right to refuse a refund. If you return Products that are used or damaged, LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE reserves the right to deduct from the refund (or conversely, to claim from you) an amount equal to the reduction in value of the Products, which may be up to 100% of the purchase price.
If you made a group purchase and wish to return it for a refund, the entire set must be returned. If the Products purchased are part of a special offer containing multiple Products, all Products must be returned to qualify for a full refund.
Article 9. Events beyond the control of LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE
La Boutique Tintin cannot be held liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from any act, event, failure to monitor, omission, accident, or circumstance beyond its control, including but not limited to:
• Civil disturbance, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
• Strikes or closures of establishments (or other industrial action);
• State of national or local emergency;
• Failure of means of transport, power outage, earthquake, fire, explosion, storm, flood, landslide, epidemic, or other natural disaster;
• Impossibility of using trains, ships, airplanes, motorized transport, or other means of public or private transport;
• Acts, decrees, legislation, regulations, or restrictions of any government
• Extreme weather conditions (heavy snow, hurricanes, etc.)
LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE'S obligation is suspended for as long as the above events continue.
Article 10 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article 47§1 of Book VI of the French Code of Economic Law, the Buyer has the right to notify La Boutique Tintin that they are canceling the purchase, without penalty and without giving any reason, within 14 (fourteen) days of delivery of the items.

The refund will be issued no later than 14 (fourteen) days following receipt of the returned products. You are entitled to a refund for your order, including VAT, excluding delivery and return shipping costs, which remain your responsibility. The refund only covers the returned Product(s). La Boutique Tintin will use the same payment method as that used for the original transaction. Under no circumstances will you incur any fees resulting from such a refund.

The Buyer is informed that La Boutique Tintin's liability, regardless of the nature of the damage, will, in any event, be limited to the amount of the order, including VAT, if applicable, excluding delivery costs and other taxes.
In the event of non-performance, La Boutique Tintin shall not be liable if the non-performance or poor performance of the sales contract is attributable either to the Buyer, to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party not involved in the sale, or to a case of force majeure.
LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE guarantees that any Product purchased from La Boutique Tintin is of satisfactory quality and is reasonably suitable for all uses for which this type of product is generally supplied.
LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE shall not be responsible for ensuring that the Products are suitable for your purposes.
LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE is not liable for (i) losses not arising from its breach of contract, or (ii) business losses (including loss of profits, revenues, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill, expenses), or (iii) indirect or consequential losses that arise as a side effect of your main loss or damage that neither you nor LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE could have foreseen at the time of the sales contract, including, but not limited to, loss of anticipated savings, or (iv) any third-party claims.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF LA CROIX DE L’AIGLE IS LIMITED TO THE EXACT AMOUNT PAID UPON PURCHASE OF THE SAID PRODUCT(S) FROM La Boutique Tintin. Even if LA CROIX DE L'AIGLE appears to fail to insist on strict compliance with your obligations under these Terms and Conditions, or if LA CROIX DE L'AIGLE fails to exercise any right or remedy to which it is entitled under these Terms and Conditions, this shall not constitute a waiver of such right or remedy and shall not confer upon you any right to default on your obligations.

You must not use La Boutique Tintin: (i) in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs La Boutique Tintin, or (ii) for any fraudulent, illegal, or criminal purpose, or (iii) in any way that causes annoyance, inconvenience, or fear, or (iv) in any way that knowingly introduces viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or any other malicious or technically harmful program; by attempting to gain unauthorized access to the website, the server on which the website is hosted or any other server, computer or database connected to our website; by attacking our website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.
